We just released v1.0.1.30 for Nighthawk X4S for WW market. This release brings some of the most important and advanced features to R7800.
- Remote genie: Enabling remote access for ‘genie’ helps you to manage your home network, provide guest access, etc., while you are away
- ReadyCLOUD enables you to access data on your USB HDD connected to Nighthawk from anywhere, anytime.
- Support for OpenVPN Connect app clients on iOS and Android to enable access to your home network remotely and securely using mobile devices
- Kwilt apps (Kwilt and Kwiltkeys) on your iOS devices enable you to access your photos from all sources such as social media sites, cloud drives, and now from USB HDD connected to your Nighthawk router, from anywhere, anytime.
Other features of interest are:
- Sends log reports via SSL email, which allows email notification to be setup on your Nighthawk router.
- Supports WiFi Transmit Power Control, which reduces WiFi power to just cover your home network and reduces WiFi interference in the neighborhood.
- Supports AP mode detection, which detects whether you set up the router in AP mode or not, and provides you with the option to configure the router in router mode or AP mode.
- Supports IPTV port, which creates a bridge connection from the WAN port to one of the LAN ports. The designated LAN port or wireless SSID becomes an IPTV port, and has the direct access to the WAN port, without going through NAT.”
