Orbi RBR50 Network setup with existing Wifi Router
Currently I have a ASUS RT-AC66U WIFI Router, but I have ordered a Orbi Mesh Router RBR50 with some satelites for better coverage.
My question is about how to setup my network, will this setup work?

Re: Orbi RBR50 Network setup with existing Wifi Router
Hello @tele_,
Welcome to the Netgear community ! 🙂
Your Asus router should be connected first, then the Orbi router, switch and satellites.
For a better connection, we recommend that you set the Orbi router to access point mode.
Have a nice day,

Ok, but as I underastand it, I can't use the parental control feature of Orbi router if it is setup in AP mode?

Re: Orbi RBR50 Network setup with existing Wifi Router
Ok.
Then if I connect my Asus router before Orbi Router, is there a way to use the same SSID, or do I need to disable WIFI on my ASUS router or have 2 different SSIDs?

Re: Orbi RBR50 Network setup with existing Wifi Router
Hello @tele_,
You will need to turn off your Asus router's Wi-Fi to avoid interference.
What is the function of your Asus router in the network? Does it act as a modem or do you have a modem ahead of it?
Have a nice day,
