Hi @ToddeSwe

I would suggest you proceeding with the firmware update as there are not known issues about the firmware.

Just make sure to keep an updated backup of your data.

Hi @ToddeSwe

Thank you for writing on the NETGEAR Community 🙂

Could you kindly confirm which firmware version is installed on your NAS?

Before carrying out any operation on the NAS, we recommend that you always keep an updated backup of your data on an external drive, to ensure its protection.

Hi

Thanks, but do you meen a backup of my data on my NAS or a backup of my NAS settings?

Nothing on my NAS worth a backup as long as my computer is up and running, it's just backups of my computers files.

Then you should have one NAS for a backup and another one for backing up the NAS when updating it.... 🙂
