iPhone 5c cannot connect to R6300

Hello,

I have iPhone 5c and cannot connect to R6300 router. Other devices like iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 all can be connected with no problem. That particular iPhone 5c can be connected to other wireless networks as well. I have 2 networks shown for the iPhone 5c for 2.4GHz and the 5Ghz.

For the 2.4Ghz the Channel is Auto. The Mode is set to Up to 217 Mbps.
and for the 5Ghz the Channel is 153 and the Mode is set to Up to 1300 Mbps.

security Options are:
WPA2-PSK[AES]

I updated the latest firmware as well for this router.

How that can be resolved?

Thanks,

Doron

Re: iPhone 5c cannot connect to R6300

5g @1300 uses 4 channels which might be a problem. If you don't have any AC clients lower 5g to 600 and try again or try setting channel to 149 or 161 as primary 1300 uses 4 channels 600 uses 2 channels Using SSIDER will not show a AC router's channel usage correctly above 600

Iphone is capable both so detail which band you are going to use.

I would choose 2.4Ghz per looking at settings. if iPhone 5 works the 5C as well on 2.4Ghz

In my case the iPhone 5c did not work on the 2.4Ghz channel as well. Is there any limitation on the number of devices to be connected to be connected?

Reset the network settings on the phone. Go to settings-generel-reset-reset network settings.

Router usually can handle 25 wifi devices so that shouldn't be an issues

Did you try lower the 2.4Ghz side to 54Mbps?

We have 2 iPhone 5c in the house. They both work on both 2.4ghz on 20hz width and on 5ghz on 20/40/80 Hz.

You are broadcasting your SSID ? Some devices don't work when SSID is not broadcasted.

Check for a IP conflict. Number of available IP's is set by you in DHCP setup.
