Cannot upload via Safari Browser after upgrade to macOS Sierra

After upgrade to macOS Sierra, I can no longer upload using Safari browser. Where the progress bar would normally be, I just get a "Failed to upload" message. Upload via Chrome still works.

Failed upload message

Re: Cannot upload via Safari Browser after upgrade to macOS Sierra

Hello dellwilson,

It is obviously that one of the components of the web browser is not compatible with the current firmware of the NAS. What is the model number and firmware version of your NAS, by the way?

Personally, I use Chrome as it has less issues with admin pages.

Hello dellwilson,

How exactly do you access and upload files using web browser? Please provide complete description of the problem as well as the version of Safari web browser and if you have tried other web browsers.

Re: Cannot upload via Safari Browser after upgrade to macOS Sierra

Steps to reproduce...

1. Open ReadyCloud in Safari Version 10.0 (12602.1.50.0.10).

2. Navigate to desired upload folder (e.g. Pictures/SomeFolder)

3. From Finder, drop file on to folder contents area in browser.

Same steps work in Chrome.

See a recording of my performing this action in Safari and then Chrome in this QuickTime Movie: https://intergraph.box.com/s/g8b9vxr3chyispeq5zqg8qwh2vlubxs4
