Desktop Application constant synchronization preventing actual downloading

Hey guys, I've looked hard for a solution to this but I think my keywords must be off or there really just isn't an answer.

The ReadyCloud desktop application has been nothing but trouble.

Here's the situation:
- ReadyCloud Desktop app won't download a share/folder onto the computer but it tries.

- It will try downloading and get through 1% then return to synchronizing

- Directly copying the files from the NAS into the identical Desktop App folder causes a "Synchronization Offline" error and won't sync at all.

The client has large folders that need to be accessed remotely.

I've tried contacting Netgear support but they're no help on this. If I would have known the lack of support I most likely wouldn't have sold so many products to clients.

I've performed as much troubleshooting as I can including different networks, different computers, different accounts yet nothing prevails. All software and firmware is up to date. Reinstalls did nothing.

Appreciate any help that comes forward.

Best regards,

Christopher.

Re: Desktop Application constant synchronization preventing actual downloading

Hi there, this took the engineers a few days to a week or two however..

My issue was because of long folder directories preventing a proper sync.
The sync issue has been resolved with a new binary file (readydrop.exe) file that they've sent me.

However files are not syncing now even though the program says its complete.

Feel free to email me at chris@itproservices.com.au.

I'll keep you updated.
