NAS 104 help needed

Hello,
please could someone help.
I have a NAS 104 and yesterday i was having trouble logging in to my account, got word back from Netgear that their servers were down.
I can now log in but i get a message saying i have no registered or shared devices. It then directs me to go to discover and my NAS drive is there with its serial number.
But when i click on manage i get an iexplore bbox pop up and asks me to enter my login details, which i do, but i will not let me log in, i will then get a screen saying Password recovery not available.
I am using a Windows 8.1 laptop
Virgin Media Netgear Super hub 2
Please some help?

It may be asking you for your local admin credentials where the user is 'admin' (no quotes). If your password doesn't work have you tried the default password?
If you have not setup password recovery then password recovery is not an option to regain access to the NAS.
Do you have a backup of your data?

I don't know what the admin password is.
All my data is backed up via ready cloud.
