RN104 can't leave ReadyCloud (on v6.4.0)
Hi everyone,
In order to change the ReadyCloud admin account that is currently tied to my ReadyNAS, I deleted the ReadyCloud account from https://remote.readynas.com/. After doing that, I tried to remove the account from NAS by logging into the admin page (http://10.x.x.x/admin), then clicking on Cloud > ReadyCloud > Settings > Leave.
The UI shows the spinning, in-progress icon for about a minute. When I click on Settings again, I find that my ReadyCloud credentials are still there and the Leave button is still not changed to Join. I reinstalled FW, toggled ReadyCloud on and off, and restarted NAS but none of them worked. It looks like there are several other members on this board experiencing the exact same issue but I could't find a solution. One member mentioned that somebody from tech support had to remotely log onto his NAS to get the problem resolved. Can anyone help?
BTW, I have a ReadyNAS 104 with firmware v6.4.0 installed with HGST Deskstar NAS 6TB x 4 in RAID 10 configuration.

Re: RN104 can't leave ReadyCloud (on v6.4.0)
Can you try re-creating the account via readycloud.netgear.com using the exact same username and password?
Once re-created, log in to readycloud.netgear.com and check if the NAS is visible there.
If it is visible there, then try removing the NAS from ReadyCLOUD using the local admin page under Cloud - ReadyCLOUD - Settings - Leave (this would be the recommended way to remove a NAS from ReadyCLOUD).

Re: RN104 can't leave ReadyCloud (on v6.4.0)
You're probably failing during the unregister, since you don't have an account to unregister. (I don't recommend using remote.readynas.com to delete your account -- ReadyCLOUD and ReadyNAS Remote IDs, while similar, are not the same. ReadyNAS Remote IDs are cloned over to ReadyCLOUD on login as they are, in ways, different).
I'm going to send you a PM.

How do you fix this? Please let us know - I have a 314 NAS that is stuck in this same situation.
Thanks

Make sure your ReadyNAS has a valid DNS server.
