RN202 ReadyCLOUD download issue through chrome

Hi just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue - Web interface using chrome works fine as usual then after what i presume is a host of updates following on from the virus attack in the media, the download function has stopped working. I can upload to any of the shares but it won't download.

Have just updated chrome to 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit), running windowd 8.1 pro, with kaspersky - Readycloud 6.7.1

Anyone come across this or has a fix?

Thanks.

Hello Gallowfire,

Are you referring to ReadyCloud portal? If you are getting any errors, please post a screen capture.

Please also check on a ReadyCloud app if you cannot download or grab a file too.

Regards,

Hi - its the readycloud.netgear/client - it doesnt show any errors, both the double click on the item or download button doesnt respond. I can create link and download the file that way.

I have the desktop app which syncs to a folder and that seams to work fine.

Hello Gallowfire,

This is a known issue.

We would fix this issue in next readycloud release.

We’d greatly appreciate hearing your feedback. The Netgear community looks forward to hearing from you and being a helpful resource in the future!

Best Regards.

Hi Gallowfire,

Soon. You can keep an eye on this.

Or you can use download file function in remote network. This is ok.

Best Regards.

Re: RN202 ReadyCLOUD download issue through chrome

Hi,

I too have this issue as I am using the readycloud. Any users other than users with admin rights can't access some files which are shared with them

and no users can use the download function. Making the system unusable !!!

This is crazy , remind me again why I bought a netgear product ? and When is 'Soon'

Not good enough netgear
