RedyNAs 2120 - Firmware 6.8.1 - service SMB dosn't start

Hi

After updating firmware to 6.8.1. SMB service doesn't want to turn ON.

Some solution?

I don't want to reset the device to factory settings.

Hello gwaliszk,

It does appear that after upgrading the firmware to 6.8.1 you can no longer enable SMB service. I would recommend to please try accessing the admin page and enabling the service from different browser or computer. Is it just the SMB service you cannot enable or you cannot enable any setting/service from the NAS at all?

1. The SMB service can not be started;

2. Change of browser did not help (IE, Opera, Firefox, Edge, Chrome).

edit: Only SMB service can not be started; rest of the service works fine;

Do you have SSH enabled?  What apps do you have running on the NAS?

1) SSH is enable

2) Apps - null, nothing
