ReadyNASOS 6.4.1-RC3 - Repeated quota message for external USB flash drive

After installing 6.4.1-RC3 I get every day at 04:00 this e-mail message:

ReadyNAS Alert Message (PMNAS02 Share: Warning)
Consumed space on folder USB_FLASH_1 exceeds 83% of the quota (29.3 GB).

it IS really annoying, because there is NO quota setting in share properties for external USB drive.

This begin after install 6.4.1-RC3. (my unit is RN204, USB flash drive is 84% full - same as before RC3)

Is it possible to repair? I mean, get quota management for external drive to or disable this message but still showing consumed and available for external device in shares pane

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.1-RC3 - Repeated quota message for external USB flash drive

This is fixed in the next build. Please wait for this and try that.

We don't set quotas on external disks so we should ignore them when checking for quota usage.

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.1-RC3 - Repeated quota message for external USB flash drive

As you can see, the "quota" in this case is the full size of your USB drive.  You can disable this from the command line with the following two commands:

# sqlite3 /var/readynasd/db.sq3 "update account_default set diskquota_warn = 100"
# sed -i '/diskquota_warn/s/80/100/' /etc/frontview/account.conf
