Re: ReadyNASOS 6.9.3-RC1 RN516 front display not working
Your system is complaining about not being able to write to the root volume. If you disable the anti-virus service (just for testing) do you still have problems?

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.9.3-RC1 RN516 front display not working
Which log would indicate that I am having trouble writing to the root volume?
I have now disabled the anti-virus service. Should I resend the logs?

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.9.3-RC1 RN516 front display not working
I saw errors in dmesg.log
Have you tried a reboot?
You can send a fresh set of logs if you like.

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.9.3-RC1 RN516 front display not working
The display works just fine on my 516 but are you running a custom kernel configuration? I have seen the problem you describe when the display module is not matched with the kernel build.

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.9.3-RC1 RN516 front display not working
Is the front pannel working better after disabling AV and reboot the RN516?
If you were still having issues after that case, can you enable secure diagnostics mode and PM me the 5-digit number?

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.9.3-RC1 RN516 front display not working
Thanks. It works now. Does that mean I should keep the anitvirus turned off for the front display to work?

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.9.3-RC1 RN516 front display not working
I would suggest to keep the AV off for now on the beta release. It appears that the front pannel might be a side effort of other possible issues with AV. Example: We have observed some issues with installing apps when AV is enabled.
We are currently working on resolving this issue.
