There is planned maintenance this weekend. So ReadyNAS.com going offline during this time is not unexpected.

It states the Ready NAS Remote for Windows is also for Win 10.

ReadyNAS Remote is no longer available. You can use ReadyCLOUD on ReadyNAS units running ReadyNAS OS 6.

I have a ReadyNAS Duo, I don't belive I can update it to OS6.

I was led to believe there was a Win10 update

There was a Windows 10 update.  But ReadyNAS remote itself is no longer available, no matter what the client.  I'm not surprised they took the client software down to eliminate confusion.  You are correct that you cannot update your Duo to OS 6.x to use ReadyCloud.  I know of no suitable replacement for ReadyNAS remote on a Duo (V1 or V2).
