So I've been trying to get my NAS to backup everything to OneDrive through share syncing. When I tryed to backup my photo/video archive (holiday pictures etc), i stumbled onto this error:
Dec 13 17:48:10 $servername clamd[8476]: ScanOnAccess: Max file size limited to 5242880 bytes
Dec 13 17:49:30 $servername ng-csd[11980]: Encountered OneDriveError: generalException
Dec 13 17:49:30 $servername ng-csd[11980]: E1213 17:49:30.641134 11980 OneDriveErrorMarshaller.cpp:92] Encountered OneDriveError: generalException
Dec 13 17:49:30 $servername ng-csd[11980]: W1213 17:49:30.641310 11980 WSClient.cpp:128] Request failed, now waiting 12000 ms before attempting again.
Which sounds weird to me, because OneDrive itself has a max filesize of 10GB (if im not mistaken). And it causes all my shares to stop syncing to OneDrive. Is there any news why this error keeps on popping up? Will it (ever) be changed?
Kind Regards,
Pascal

Re: 6.9.1: OneDrive Max Filesize issue
The log about the Max file size is from clamd - the Anti Virus scan engine, not OneDrive syncing service. You may try to turn off the Anti-Virus to see if it helps. And you can also check the syncing log in OneDrive setting.

Re: 6.9.3 BETA 1: OneDrive Max Filesize issue
Unfortunatly that didn't help. I just installed the 6.9.3 BETA 1 update, hoping that would fix the issues. But unfortunatly it didn't. The logfile from OneDrive itself is useless, it doesn't register much. Only that it started & is scanning the local disk. When it does, i see this in the commandline:
For some reason, my documents folder uploads without any issues. But as soon as the files become bigger (e.g. photo's or videos), this happens.

Re: 6.9.3 BETA 1: OneDrive Max Filesize issue
A little addition:
After removing the ' and . from some of the file names, one of my shares was able to upload entirely. Maybe it's conflicting with MS api queries?
