Using mostly from MacOS Mojave using Safari. Also from PC running latest version of Windows 10 and MS Edge. ReadyNas firmware is 6.9.5. Each of the 4 bays is filled with a 8TB enterprise class HD for 21.82TB total storage. RAID5.
Problem: Each time I attempt to upload a movie file to a share on the NAS via the ReadyCloud app, transfer goes very, very slowly, and then stops about 10% through. Safari then freezes... and soon after so does the entire computer, necessitating a restart. Uploads seem to work okay via Edge on Windows.
Is there some known issue involving ReadyNAS and Safari?
Just curious - often have to upload large files over the Internet, while being away from the ReadyNAS, or using ReadyShare Web UI while being on the same [W]LAN with the ReadyNAS?
