Intense disk activity - what's going on
ReadyNAS 6.10.3 with 2 x Seagate IronWolf 16TB drives
Normally I am not near the NAS but a recent project has put me on a system near the unit. I am hearing INTENSE disk activity. I did a restart and activity continues. Not seeing abnormal network activity. SSH in and looking at "top" I see very significant run times for "ng-csd". How do I determine what is causing intense activity and if there is a problem? Unit seems to be running normally. Cloud syncs are with Amazon, Dropbox, Google, and OneDrive. Those syncs have been in place for a couple years and seem to be running running normally. Nothing unusual in the log displays.

Do you use Google File Sync? I thinbk ng-csd is part of that. Intense activity could be scanning for changes.
