Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in, ready cloud version 1.4, radar version 6.3,
hi user in the uk, happening here too since saturday gmt 10 am, my rn202 twin 3tb wd drives, is there and accessible via the web portal and shows up as normal and happy, ive tried deinstall and reinstall of the readycloud app two mac laptops and a mac mini, ive not changed the network, ive tried disconnecting the rn202 from readycloud and reconnection, ive tried backing off from ipv6 down to ipv4 and separately limiting the ip addresses to hard set, none worked - that was circa four hours of effort over my weekend. interestingly readycloud access does work via the readycloud app on an ipad, so this is a readycloud and network connection issue. Maybe netgear changed something ? system had been up and stable for circa 12 months. any thoughts or help from the community gratefully accepted
rn202 firmware 6.9, readycloud v1.4 mac os sierra 10.12.6

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Hi,
Same issue here....
Running RN214 with 6.9.0
On my Macbook with 10.13.1 bèta (17B46a) I am having the same problem since the 30th.
No problem using the iOS app on my iPhone with iOS 11.1 (15B93)
Did try a reinstall 30 minutes back, but the issue is still there.
Then I started to look here and found this entry 🙂
I will try a WIndow 10 PC with the latest MS upgrade to see how that works.

System is physically on the same network switch.
** Readycloud app on my Macbook is v1.4

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Thank you for updating the version, but it doesn't install. If you check for updates it says
'' Readycloud client version 1.5 is now available. Do you want to install the new version?''
If you click install it goes through the install procedure but if you check the version after its finished it's still 1.4
and you still get the same error trying to log in.
Can you please check it works? alternatively put the latest version on here: https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads
Thanks again

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Same problem here....
App starts and finishes the install proces, but restarting the app still shows v1.4.
When I check the app file, it does show that it was created today.
I will try and install it directly from the website, but I remeber that a couple of weeks ago that still downloaded v1.0....

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
I don't know what goes wrong, but this is still v1.4....
I even deleted the installed app and did a completely new install. As soon as the app starts, it is telling me that there is a new (1.5) version available.... The app still shows v1.4 in it's info.
Any idea?

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Has version 1.5 been pushed out? I'm not getting any update notification. When I check for updates in the settings, the app says "Checking" but never shows an update.
Please make an installer available on the downloads page. Thanks!

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Hello Deniro,
Thanks for your help with v1.5.
Unfortunately, my staff's Mac computers are using OS X EL Capitan 10.11.6 and cannot upgrade to the newest version because of the age of their machine.
Is it correct that Readycloud v1.5 can only run on 10.12 or later?
If so, is there any way to overcome this problem so I can get my staff access again via Readycloud?
Regards

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
I have a MacBook Pro (macOS Sierra V10.12.6) running ReadyCLOUD but it has not been connecting due to a Network Error as described here in this discussion. ReadyCLOUD now is telling me that there is a new version available, Version 1.5 but when I down load it I'm still getting V1.4. The link provided dy Dinero (http://readycloud.netgear.com/client/install/ReadyCLOUD.pkg) is still giving me V1.4 even after others say they are now getting V1.5
Can anyone help with this issue?

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Thanks for your prompt response via email to my previous post here but the link forwarded in that email is still not providing me with the correct version of ReadyCLOUD. After a couple more attempts I’m still getting Version 1.4.739.165

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Hi Rob54,
I had this problem as well.
Have you tried deleting the Readycloud app, empty the recycling bin, restart the machine and then install v1.5 from the link?

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Hi Ben, yes I've just gone through that process again, deleted the app, emptied the trash and downloaded from the link (http://readycloud.netgear.com/client/install/ReadyCLOUD.pkg) but still get V1.4.739.165 installed.
I know it must seem strange but I've tried everything with absolutely no change.

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Hi Rob54
Sorry to hear.
I have just tested this on another machine and it worked for me.
Have you tried using a different web browser to download and install, to eliminate any cached data?
Sorry mate, all I can think of now..

Re: Is ReadyCLOUD down? Network error when signing in.
Thanks Ben, using Safari instead of Firefox has done the trick! I should have maybe cleared the cache or tried Safari a few days ago but in all my years in IT I've never had that issue with a download of this nature. Then again this is my first MacBook and exposure to macOS!
This is also the very first time I have ever had to ask a question on a community forum. All new to me 🙂
Thanks for your assistance
Rob
