RN102 Windows 10 File Explorer Error

Hi,

I have been having some issues the last few days with my RN102. On two separate machines I have different problems.

On one, I can watch movies fine. But if I try to move files to the Readynas Windows Explorer just freezes.

On the other, I can move files without issue but when I try to play a movie I get the error 'Package could not be registered'.

I can move files to the Readynas via the web client, but even this way has started to slow down.

Both computers are running Windows 10. Readynas is running firmware 6.9.5

Any help would be great. Even a workaround would help

I've found the issue was with the Films and TV app which once reset started to work again.

Re: RN102 Windows 10 File Explorer Error

I found the issue with not being able to move files was due to an overzealous antivirus blocking the packets as it considered them an attack from within the network (IDS).

The other issue is still irritating me

Re: RN102 Windows 10 File Explorer Error

What firmware are you running on the NAS?

How you are playing the movie?  Opening the file in the player?  DLNA?

Is Antivirus disabled?

I'm playing the movie as always in Films & TV, by opening the file in Windows Explorer. On one computer this works fine, on the other I get the error 'Package could not be registered'.

I'm running Eset Internet Security, but even with this disabled I get the same error
