ReadyCLOUD SSL security

Hi,

As you can see at https://dev.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=readycloud.netgear.com there are some improvements to be made to the SSL connection to readycloud.netgear.com

As of today, the SSL connection gets an F rating.

Thanks,

Re: ReadyCLOUD SSL security

Hello again,

Please let the engineering team know that the issues are also present in the SSL configuration of remote.readynas.com and replicate.readynas.com

https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=remote.readynas.com
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=replicate.readynas.com

Aldo, they should know that https://www.readynas.com has a C rating

https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=readynas.com

Thanks,

Hello again,

For a guide on server side TLS configuration, take a look at: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Security/Server_Side_TLS

Hope it helps

Re: ReadyCLOUD SSL security

We have a fix coming (no ETA) which if that site remains the same will improve the grade to a "C". However some things we cannot change in order to maintain backwards compatibility for users running old firmware.
