ReadyCLOUD app on Mac - Online (VPN Disconnected)

I'm unable to access the shares on our ReadyNAS via the ReadyCLOUD app from outside the office LAN, but only when using a Mac. When I try it on a Windows PC, I have no issues. But when I (or anyone else in the company) uses a Mac with the ReadyCLOUD app, it shows as "Online (VPN Disconnected)" and we can't access the shares.

 

I've rebooted the ReadyNAS and updated to the latest firmware - 6.10.2

 

Any ideas on what I can try to get this working correctly?

Are you using standard account of MacOSX?what is your MacOSX version?

I am logged in using an admin account in MacOSX 10.13.3 (High Sierra)

Is It possible to try Mojave or Catalina on your Mac device?I have a Macmini which encountered the same issue in High Sierra but after I updated it to Mojave  the VPN disconnected issue is gone.

I've just upgraded to Catalina and still have the same issue. Opened ReadyCLOUD after upgrading and the ReadyNAS still says "Online (VPN Disconnected)".

I am having the Same Issue, on two Macs. One is Mojave and one is Catalina (fresh installation).

Both say: "Online: VPN disconnected".

 

I use it on a Windows 10 Pc and there it works with no problem.

Exactly the same issue running on Catalina.

I can access the server remotely with ReadyCloud mobile on iOS or on my Mac using the webpage. Using the OSX.app returns the dreaded (VPN Disconnected) message.

 

This (bug?) has been on for quite sometime now.

Ironically it is marked as SOLVED but in reality it is not. 

 

Would be nice if somebody got his attenton on it an managed a solution
