ReadyCloud for Android - file download problem

Hi,

I just discovered a problem with ReadyCloud for Android.
The problem was noticed when downloading from ReadyNAS to my phone.
All seemed fine ended with successful download notification, but the file i downloaded could not be found anywhere on my phone, internal and SD-card storage.

ReadyNAS 422 with OS 6.9.5.
ReadyCloud 2.0.1 RC3 on Android 9 (Pie) on a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact.

Best regards,
Ulf

Hi uffgnu14,

You usually will be able to find the downloaded file when you go to the Android > data then look for the folder named com.netgear.readycloud.

Re: ReadyCloud for Android - file download problem

Hi,

After downloading and still ReadyCloud logged-in I can locate the files in
"Android/data/com.netgear.readycloud/files/Download/715500/data/mydatafolder".
As soon I logout from ReadyCloud all downloaded files disappeares leaving
"Android/data/com.netgear.readycloud/files".

Best regards,

Re: ReadyCloud for Android - file download problem

Hi uffgnu14,

The files saved on the Android/data/com.netgear.readycloud/files is just temporary so when you log out from the ReadyCLOUD, those files will disappear. You will need to move the files to another location so the files will not disappear.
