ReadyCloud not connecting
Re: ReadyNAS 202 / Firmware 6.6.0 / ReadyCloud Client v1.15
So it's nearly a year that I have been trying to connect my NAS202 via the ReadyCloud client (v1.15), and I still can't connect using my Windows 10 laptop, all I get is a message that says the NAS202 is online, VPN disconnected...
and now today even my iPad and iPhone fail to connect using the App (v1.5.9) I am able to see all the shared folders, and even sub folders, I just can't navigate to view files (the message I get simply says ERROR The operation couldn't be completed at this moment, try again) - I have searched for hours for a solution and I'm disappointed that this 'consumer level' product just doesn't work reliably and simply...
and don't even get me started on the 'wake on lan' function - when I bought the NAS unit I also bought a UPS that will turn the NAS off when the power goes out and the battery is low... this is fantastic except you have to turn the NAS unit back on manually as the wake on lan requires the use of a further, non Netgear app to control it, again this works locally but will not function via the internet...
I'm not sure what the solution is but given how much time I spend away from my office it would be really great to have access to all the files I need without having to rely on USB drives to take data with me !

Hello, I have been having the same issue and have similar versions of the programs Windows 10, version 1511, Build 10586.36 and ReadyCLOUD version 1.9.1249.412 - since these upgrades the ReadyCloud client is unable to connect locally, via cellular or external wi-fi connections, my ReadyNAS (NAS202) shows up as a network drive and I can connect to the drive with read/write access no problems over my local network, I can connect to the web version of ReadyCLOUD and access files remotely via this method if required. Luckily my old Windows 7 laptop with the old ReadyNAS remote client still chugs away reliably - I would love to find a solution

Re: ReadyCloud not connecting
Hi webZplus,
I apologize about the issues that you have encountered throughout the year.
May I ask about the status on the clout tab? There should be information about the "Internet" and "Services"; are they showing as available with green checks?
If not, kindly try setting up a static DNS on the ReadyNAS.
How do I configure DNS information for an ethernet interface on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system?
Regards,

Re: ReadyCloud not connecting
Hello FramerV
On the Cloud Tab, both the Internet Available and Services Available have ticks, also the ReadyCloud 'switch' is on, the Proxy and Security settings are blank with the exception of a tick in the 'Encryption' box.
It would be great to resolve this issue as it has gone on far too long.
Cheers

Re: ReadyCloud not connecting
Hi FramerV,
I am having the same problem. We have both green checks under the cloud tab, we are using the 6.6.1 firmware and 1.5.9 app. Everything is working fine with the desktop access. When using the iPad app i can see the server and sometimes i can even go through folders and get to files but more often than not i get "ERROR The operation couldn't be completed at this moment, try again"
Is there anything I'm missing or a setting i need to adjust? It gives the error to the point the app is functionally unusable. Any help or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Brandon
