ReadyNAS ReadyCloud VPN Disconnected
Hi,
I've had the most trouble with ReadyCloud. It's the most unstable app I've probably ever used. With that being said, I had finally gotten it to work on my laptop so that I can access files saved on the NAS while I'm out of the office. All of a sudden it now says Online (VPN Disconnected) and it will not work. I've restarted the NAS. What can be done to fix this issue?

Hi @GavinMerwin
Have you checked your Internet connection? Made any changes on your Network? You may want to PM me your zipped logs so we can check.
What firmware is installed on the NAS? Also, try to leave and rejoin the NAS to your ReadyCloud account.
Regards

Are you open to alternatives to ReadyCloud? There are other options for remote access.

At this point, yes. ReadyCloud is garbage. We used to use Dropbox but there is a charge for business and ReadyCloud is free. We're also paying for ReadyVault.

Re: ReadyNAS ReadyCloud VPN Disconnected
You could look at OwnCloud or NextCloud. There's a ReadyNAS install package for both at https://rnxtras.com/
Or set up your own VPN.
