Re: ReadyNAS online (VPN Disconnected)
One thing you can try is to add 8.8.8.8 to the DNS server list on the NAS.

Re: ReadyNAS online (VPN Disconnected)
When you look on the cloud page of the NAS web ui, do you see the two green checkmarks confirming the internet connection and the ReadyCloud service connection?

Re: ReadyNAS online (VPN Disconnected)
Ok. It seems to me that points to the app itself, and not the NAS or the ReadyCloud server.
Do you have internet security software running on the PC? If you do, try disabling it.
BTW, any particular reason you are sticking with Windows 8?

Re: ReadyNAS online (VPN Disconnected)
I will try to disable the antivirus and check.
I like windows 8 because it does not keep updating frequently against our wish as in windows 10.
Do you suggest windows 10 will work better with readynas

I don't work for Netgear, but I doubt that they spend much time testing ReadyCloud on Windows 8 PCs.
