Upgraded to 6.2.0 but ReadyCLOUD not working
So I upgraded my ReadyNAS to 6.2.0 today, but am having troubles getting it to work with the new ReadyCloud.
I've tried disconnecting the user, reconnecting. Rebooting the host, turning ReadyCloud on and off, clearing browser cache. Nothing seems to help.
The behavior I am seeing is that I can see my device on the ReadyCloud site, but I cannot browse. It doesn't show any folders or anything

Re: Upgraded to 6.2.0 but ReadyCLOUD not working
I wonder if you may need to try installing some of those over the top of themselves e.g. the PHP ones.

I think I can actually install a bunch of them (except for Plex and Logitech). Is that worth doing you think?

Seeing lots of these errors:
Can you check that you've entered the credentials correctly for your ReadyCloud account in the Dashboard?

Re: Upgraded to 6.2.0 but ReadyCLOUD not working
Sorry, which dashboard exactly? I know I am logged in on the readycloud.netgear.com site since it shows my host.
Do you mean in the ReadyCloud settings on the frontpanel? I did leave and then rejoin.
I seem to be properly authenticated in both places...

Re: Upgraded to 6.2.0 but ReadyCLOUD not working
If you download the logs again, does readycloud.log still get new messages like the one I mentioned above?
Yes I meant the ReadyCloud settings on the local admin GUI.

Hmmmm.
You may wish to backup your data, do a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything) and restore your data from backup.

dang, I was thinking that might be where this is headed. OK, I do have everything all backed up. I assume I can also backup/restore settings?

Re: Upgraded to 6.2.0 but ReadyCLOUD not working
You should be able to. Though if that doesn't work you should try again without restoring cloud settings.
I would suggest making sure Cloud access works before putting your data back on.
It would be a good opportunity also to disable Bitrot protection and snapshots on shares you don't need them on.
When you disable Bitrot protection it disables CoW. When CoW is disabled, it only affects new files created afterwards on the share.
CoW should be disabled for things such as Virtual Machines, databases, torrents etc. I should be changed for any shares containing files that have a huge number of in place modifications made to them.

Not actually familiar with Bitrot protection. I assume I would find that on the settings for the shares?
And what's CoW?
Thanks!

Re: Upgraded to 6.2.0 but ReadyCLOUD not working
CoW - "copy on write". It is one of the main features of the btrfs file system used in OS6 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copy-on-write). It's worth understanding, it will give you a clear picture on how the snapshots actually work.

There is a bitrot protection setting for each share.

Oh yea, familiar with BTRFS. Coffee hadn't started working yet; should have figured out CoW.
Thanks a ton, I'll get started on it later today and report back.

So... Factory reset. And before I did anything else, I tried to get ReadyCLOUD going.
I am seeing the same errors in the log:

Re: Upgraded to 6.2.0 but ReadyCLOUD not working
*sigh*
So, I created a NEW ReadyCloud account and it all works... But I really need to use my other account (have other NASi associated with it).
But I think that clearly means it is some backend problem?

can you login as that user to readycloud.netgear.com or remote.readynas.com to verify the account details are correct?

Yea, it the ReadNAS joins to that account fine, and I can log in to readycloud.netgear.com just fine.
I got support looking into it at the moment.
