cannot detect my NAS using RAIDar.app, but Mac finder.app can detect

I got RN31600-100AJS Jan. 8.

At first, it is easy to set up. ReadyCLOUD is working initialy, but ReadyCLOUD.app was not good. First contact to my NAS is successful, but in short time later ReadyCLOUD.app is lost my NAS. Once quit the application, then run it again, it is working normal.

But now, ReadyCLOUD.app cannot detect my NAS but also RAIDar.app in same local network. Mac OS can detect NAS and display in finder (also AFS, SMB.) but RAIDar.app and ReadyCLOUD web page can't.

Between two situation, OS upgrade was exist. OS 10.12.3 to 10.12.4.

Model: ReadyNAS-3100|ReadyNAS-3100

You are at the edge of the free 90 day phone support window (which ends April 8), so you could use that.

You could also try an OS reinstall using the procedure on page 88-89 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/ReadyNAS_%20OS6_Desktop_HM_EN.pdf  That will reset your admin password back to password and would also reset the network configuration to use DHCP.

Re: cannot detect my NAS using RAIDar.app, but Mac finder.app can detect

1. Before last week, did you set up a ReadyCLOUD user and put files in a cloud user home folder?

2. If the answer to 1 is "yes," do you see any files in the cloud user folder in Volume/data/home using macOS Finder?

3. If the answer to 2 is "no," then there may be data loss in the home folder only.

If you are not already informed about the ReadyCLOUD outage, read the following before doing anything else:

ReadyCLOUD Outage:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyCLOUD/ReadyNAS-Bulletin-Board-on-March-30th-2017-ReadyCLOUD-Ou...

If after reading the link above you choose to boot to Volume Read Only, see ReadyNAS Boot Menu Instructions (note links to specific models toward bottom of page):

  • Yes. since JAN, ReadyCLOUD user
  • one file is in. wordpress backup file for testing.
  • Others, using folder backup for my MacBook.

2. If the answer to 1 is "yes," do you see any files in the cloud user folder in Volume/data/home using macOS Finder?

  • it is very easy access to Volume/data/home using macOS Finder. No ploblems are there.

3. If the answer to 2 is "no," then there may be data loss in the home folder only.

ReadyCLOUD is back on normal. But no apps are downloadable. php, php my admin, mySQL. I only use SSL that installed before the trouble. Commands are all rejected for installing them. OS 6.6.1 has bugs?
