The ReadyNAS is finally on-line after updating to firmware 6.5.2 but I now no longer can logon to the admin page and readynas error code 6001010106 is displayed in a dialogue box. Password reset is not enabled. Has the password been reset to a default value?

The ReadyCLOUD admin was missing from the group it needed to be in. So adding it to that group from the backend resolved the issue.

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.

Also now displays notification stating that I have to be on the same network as the ReadyNAS to access the admin page. I'm on the same network and initially I would be prompted with the logon dialogue box but now I just get the warning about having to be on the same network and no logon prompt.

Just found out that the system was rebooted with the default username and password for access to the admin page.
Username : admin

Re: readynas error code 6001010106 since firmware 6.5.2
Appears to be finallyworking but I haven't given it a thorough testing. I logged out and logged back in using ReadyCloud and the 6001010106 error code still comes up. What does this code mean?
I also wanted to set up the password recovery option but that isn't straight forward. 😞

Re: readynas error code 6001010106 since firmware 6.5.2
It seems you've run into an issue that can be encountered when the system was initially setup on very old firmware. I've sent you a PM.
