NAS High-Availability (HA) Configuration for ReadyNAS OS6
I use ReadyNAS (I have deployed a variety of RN3220, RR3312, and RN3138 units) in many small business settings for ease of set up and some decent domain credentialing support.
I have some clients who need higher data reliability/availability than single server set-ups can offer. I would love to be able to recommend ReadyNAS for this, but currently it appears that ReadyNAS OS6 only has hourly rsync for disaster recovery, but no built-in live replication or failover options.
I see that Synology and QNAP have this feature. I would like to suggest adding a the high availability feature to OS6 with virtual IP and either active-active or active-passive server set up.
