Displaying the last know MAC will help send a magic packet by remote to wake up the NAS.
Are you talking about RAIDar?
FWIW, I think it would be nice if RAIDar itself could send the magic packet.
No - on http://readycloud.netgear.com/
Can you explain how you thinking this would work some more? You'd need more information to send a WoL packet over the internet to reach the NAS. And most routers won't forward a received WoL packet to the NAS.
For myself i can reach my homenet via reverseSSH proxy and wakeup my nas but have to save my MAC before. I would appreciate when web platform has last known mac saved anywhere so i can use copy+paste ... very simple wish as last serial is also shown there.
