Couchpotato app unable to uninstall (might be corrupted)

Hi I have install Couchpotato on my ReadyNAS104 but the GUI isn't showing up an when I try to launch it the error message comes up :"Empty resource error. Bad NML Call." I have try to remove it but it just wont work.. I check the log and it just says " System: Cannot uninstall application CouchPotatoServer" I have also restarted the NAS few times

Is there a way to get it removed so I can try to install it again without doing factory reset? I'm just a home user, not that technical when it come to NAS or networking..

I'm running

Model : Ready NAS104

Firmware : 6.6.0

Re: Couchpotato app unable to uninstall (might be corrupted)

Hello porkii,

Have you tried another web browser? I tried this on our own RN104 with 6.6.0 firmware version and that seemed to work.

Welcome to the community!

Hello porkii,

If you have other apps running, please turn them off then try uninstalling Couchpotato.

That still didn't work.. I hear read some where if I reload the firemare that might do the trick.. but I'm worry if I do that I would reformate the drive and lose everything

Re: Couchpotato app unable to uninstall (might be corrupted)

Hello porkii,

Re-uploading the firmware to admin page won't lead to data loss, not even OS reinstall unless performed incorrectly.

Re: Couchpotato app unable to uninstall (might be corrupted)

You'll find the firmware download here: http://kb.netgear.com/31221/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Software-Version-6-6-0  You want the "arm" link.  Download the zip file file, and extract the img file from the zip.

Then install that img file using the instructions on page 202 of the manual:  http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/READYNAS_OS_6_SM_EN.pdf  The section title is "Update Firmware Without Direct Internet Access"

Hi porkii,

Do you have a way of downloading the logs?

Please check the link:

How do I send all logs to ReadyNAS Community moderators?

Re: Couchpotato app unable to uninstall (might be corrupted)

I'm seeing the same error. My ready Nas shows that it has version 3.0.1 installed and that is the version showing on the download page. I manullay uninstalled it and was able to install version 3.0.1-1 from a download on 11/20 and it it working fine.
