We are users (not developers or technical experts) of Netgear ReadyNAS solutions.
We want to have camera systems attach via FTP to the ReadyNAS systems to same snapshot images.
We have had trouble accomplishing a logon with modern cameras. That said, we can use FileZilla and WinSCP to establish a FTP connection.
Camera manufacturers have FTP protocol embedded in tens of millions of cameras – they all can’t be wrong.
Does anyone have advice regarding theReadyNAS FTP configuration parameters for modern cameras to accomplish a logon procedure.
Some of the questions we have relate to
Can connection be resumed
SSL/TLS
Active versus passive mode
