Plex 1.16.5 problem with OS6.10.1 on RNAS 204 (arm)

I installed the default Plex server app (avaiable through NAS, v1.11.3.4803) on my RNAS 204 running OS6.10.1, and then configured it. All was fine, other than, when I launched the Plex Server, it said a new version was available. I configured the libraries etc. on Plex server, and then went onto upgrade to latest Plex server from the plex.tv site, v1.16.5.1554. Ever since then, when I launch the product, the server is can't join my Plex login (keeps showing unclaimed server). When I try to uninstall the app, it won't do it. Keeps hanging, and if I relogin into admin console, the app would still be there. If I try and install the older version from the appstore available within the OS, it says failed install. Please advise how to get this working. I wonder why Netgear/ReadyNAS can't stay up-to-date with latest releases on its embedded app store!

Plex decided to distribute this on their own some years ago, so this one isn't on Netgear.  You shouldn't have seen it in the apps list at all.  Instead it should be downloaded from https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/ and installed manually.

I ran into the unclaimed server issue a while back (and it was installed on a Windows PC, not the NAS).  I don't recall exactly what I did to resolve it (sorry).  Have you tried using http://nas-ip-address:32400/web  You might also need to forward the port in your router.
