The RN Remote App no longer works after upgrading my iPad to IOS 11. Is there an update to the App coming out soon or another way to remotely access my files from an iPad?

I don't use ReadyCloud myself. OpenVPN and ZeroTier are two alternatives that will work with your iPad. OpenVPN is built into some Netgear routers (most Nighthawks and Orbi). It's also available in some open source router firmware.
There is a ZeroTier app for the NAS that you can download (and manually install) here: https://github.com/NAStools/zerotierone/releases. It's an older version, but I'm told it still works. You can also install it on a PC on your home network, and configure it to bridge to your full home network. That of course requires that the PC be on when you are connecting remotely.
Both alternatives have free VPN apps that can be installed on your iPAD.
