RN102 Firmware 6.10.5 admin page fails and clamav database does not update

THis problem started about 3 weeks ago.

When trying to acces the admin page with any browser from any PC, the admin page starts to display then aborts trying to reconnect.

Shares are correctly accessed.

I also can use correctly the NAS with "NAS Utils" from android.

Also, the clamav database does not update.

Any idea about this ?

They are two completely different problems.

The best way to solve the admin login problem is to downgrade the firmware back to 6.10.4.  Not sure if NAS Utils will let you do that or not.

There are some other ways you can do the downgrade, but if NAS Utils supports it, it's probably the easiest way for you.

Re: RN102 Firmware 6.10.5 admin page fails and clamav database does not update

Hello,

In fact, "NAS Utils" does not allow to downgrade installation. But it allows to modifify services, then I could activate SSH if there a way to downgrade using shell. Otherwise I will wait for a new version to correct this problem.

Do you think this could also correct Clamav updating process as well ?

Kind regards

Pierre

Based on posts here, changing the admin password back to password would likely restore access and then let you downgrade.

An OS-reinstall would change the password back, I don't use Nas Utils, so I don't what features it supports.

The best way to prevent the problem from recurring is to then downgrade to 6.10.4 or perhaps 6.10.3.

You can manually update ClamAV using ssh, and there are some posts here on how to do that.
