RN214 Error message
Hi,
I had the following error on my ReadyNAS214
Disk Model:WDC WD40EFRX-68N32N0 Serial:WD-WCC7K6VZ65K0 was removed from Channel 1 of the head unit.
The time entry was around midnight and I was well and truly asleep.
The volume was then showing as degraded. I had not removed any disks. My PC was powered off at the time and Dell has since replaced the motherboard. After powering up the PC I then powered up the NAS and the data was synced and it seems OK now.
I'm not sure what happened and any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, Robert

Re: RN214 Error message
Hi @paullings
Welcome to the Community!
Data degraded messages just means that there was a disk failure which in this case the disk from CH1 was removed.
Regarding your disks getting removed it would be best if you can check the logs since we will see there clues on why it happened. you can send a download link to me through PM.
Full backup of your data is much advisable at this time since we cannot guarantee that this will not happen again especially if there's really a problem on the disk. Better to be ready and have a spare disk available.
Hope this helps!
Regards
