ReadyNAS Photos II - no email invitation sent

I am having problems with getting the ReadyNAS to send e-mail invites to people that I want to see the pictures. I see that in the past yoh-dah has looked into this, but I never saw any resolution. I have tried sending to several different addresses on multiple occassions, none of them appear to have been received.

Try PM'ing r2-d2 again and if you still get no response after a few days perhaps try cap1.

I am having the same issue. I installed version 1.0.6. I have checked spam filters, etc. for all email accounts tested. Invitations are indeed NOT being received, and it therefore appears that invitations are actually not being sent from the ReadyNAS application domain: photos.readynas.com. Either the app email server is broken, or it is experiencing some other issue.

Can someone at NetGear please look into this, as this appears to be consistent problem.

Has anyone found a solution for this issue?
