Hi all. I see there's a new version, but I can't seem to find out what has been updated. Not going to update for no reason as I've had so many issues patching my NAS over the years.

Hi @Brannor
Surveillance app updates is usually about improving security of the application and device. Release notes is not commonly posted since updates are provided on the security page.
The last ReadyNAS surveillance advisory was this and this was the last advisory for ReadyNAS system.
The update should have contained fixes or changes for those reports.
You can always check the Security page for more information.
Hope this helps!
Regards
