Readycloud Desktop client for Mac not connecting
I have a Readynas RN31600 which I try to access with the ReadyCloud Desktop for Mac version 1.6 (latest avaialble).
I cannot connect to the Readynas as the app keeps saying "connecting". I was able to connect in the past, but not anymore. I've tried unregistering and re-registering the Netgear account in the router (it's a Netgear D8500) but no luck.
However, I can access the Readynas with the browser via http://readycloud.netgear.com and also with the Readynas static address.
Any idea why the desktop app does not work? Thanks for any hint!

Have you checked if a DNS server is present on the Network settings? You may want to add a DNS server like google (8.8.8.8) and then reboot the NAS and reinstall the ReadyCloud app.

ReadyCloud on the router and on the ReadyNAS are completely independent - each ReadyCloud host is registered on it's own.
As you can access your ready NAS using the ReadyCloud Web portal, the registration to the cloud is fine.

I have this issue too, with my ReadNAS 524X and a Mac running Mojave 10.14.5, so if anyoine has a solution please help me! Thanks.

I been having same issue describe above. MacOS 10.14.5 . ReadyCloud client app just spins on connnecting? I also tried new reinstall no help...

I fixed my issue be doing the following.
1) Permaneltly Delete application on Mac - For all ReadyCloud files

2) Restart Mac
3) Resintall Mac Desktop ReadyCloud App
4) Restart NAS early in process just in case
Now able to run desktop Mac App again for sync/backup.
