Unfortunately the error message is misleading.  Removing disks was the wrong thing to do.

Start by powering down the NAS and reinserting disk 5 (and any other disks you removed).  Then power up again.  That won't restore your volume, it will just undo the wrong action you took to try to restore the volume.

After that, download the full log zip file from the logs page.  That usually contains enough clues to sort out what caused the problem.  There is a lot of info in the zip file - if you need help analyzing it, you can put the zip file into cloud storage and then send me a private message (PM) with a download link.   Make sure the permissions are set so anyone with the link can download it.  You send a PM using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.

In most cases your problem is due to RAID array being out of sync.  Often that is the result of a power failure or crash.  Though you can also see that error if you have multiple disk failures.
