I have been trying to get some clear information regarding setting up a backup job using rSync over SSH and i've had little sucsess with finding information or getting this working and the error "Unable to connect to host"
Setup
Ubuntu Server 16.04 Running KVM server
ReadyNAS 3312 (i'm aware this is not the same modle as listed) Firmware 6.9.4 HOTFIX 1
I have checked that SSH is enabled on the ReadyNAS in the sysem menu and also within the user. issues that i'm having is been able to export the ssh-key form ubuntu and get it imported into the Ready NAS.
Any advise of help with this would be grately apreciated and any other information that might be needed let me know.

I have gone thought this, but my current issue is not so much imporanting the key but getting a key from Ubuntu 16.04 Server and it does not appear in the dir that is shown in the link. I have logged into SSH on the ReadyNAS and then SSH'd back into my Ubuntu server in the hope this would pull the key but with no sucsess.
Been looking for any information on collecting the SSH key from my Ubuntu Server in sevral differnt ways.
