Upload speeds to Readynas Vault, capping?

I have recently set up a Readynas and currently trying to complete an intial upload of my data to the Vault. I have done a speed check and our ISP gives us a 1mb upload at all times of the day. I have uploaded a small portion of the data on the Readynas (approx. 60 GB), this has taken several days to complete and roughly comes out at a 0.1mb upload speed (10% of what can be achieved). Is this limit down to a cap on upload speeds on Netgears servers? I have checked my settings and these are already set to faster backup.
Readynas 102
Thanks,

Hi @APA-Gordon,
We are sorry to hear you are having difficulty utilizing your available bandwidth. Certainly, if you back up settings are set to "faster bakup" we would expect a much more effective use of your network.
There are a variety of trouble shooting steps to consider, but we would love to investigate your account prior to having you jump through hoops and make sure you are on the latest available version of the ReadyNAS Vault software.
For account investigation purposes, can you share your account email, either via Private Message here or by opening a ticket with us at support@vault.readynas.com? This support address goes directly the Vault support team (regular NETGEAR support focuses on hardware issues and would attempt to refer any Vault inquiries our way).
For gather your version info, I wish there was a less complex way, but if you open your ReadyNAS Vault account (https://vault.readynas.com) and visit the Backup Settings --> Manage Device Backups page and hover your mouse over the device in question, the tool tip that appears should report the version of the Vault software you have on board (to be clear, it will report the version that was on board at the time of your most recent connection, but it sounds like you've been connected pretty recently).
We will get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.
Thanks for giving us an opportunity to respond and provide support!

Re: Upload speeds to Readynas Vault, capping?
Just wanted to close the loop here, since at least part of the solution was identified outside of the posting in a direct communication with the original poster.
For others finding this thread, please note that...
Many services for testing network speed and throughput report their results in terms of "bits per second" (or megabits/s or kilobits/s). Also, ISPs typically market their speed to end users in the same bits/s units.
It's key to note the disinction that file sizes are typically reported by operating systems in "bytes" (or megabyites, kilobytes, gigabytes, etc..). Because the ReadyNAS Vault is a storage focused service with capacity tiers based on aggregate file size, all statistics including transfer speed are reported in bytes per second.
This can create confusion when juxtaposing with speed test in bits, i.e. Vault tells you speed in bytes/s and speed testers tell you in bits/s. So, if Vault is reporting speed of 1 MBytes/s, it is using 8mbits/s of throughput.
Hope this helps.
