VIRUS and BACKUPS
Hello everybody
I did not find any post about this...
Actually using RN 214 FW 6.6.1...
During my regular backups I got some alerts related to virus infection... on files that do not exist!!
It's embarassing... virus on snapshots files with no snapshot function on..
I can only think to "old" invisible files sitting on disks ... but no access to them..
Please comment and help...I wanna clean such corrupted files asap...

Re: VIRUS and BACKUPS
They might also be false alarms. There are a lot of posts here on problems with the new AV service in 6.6.1. Netgear says they plan to provide a 6.6.2 beta soon (hopefully next week) to start addressing them.
You might want to turn the AV service off in the meantime.

Re: VIRUS and BACKUPS
No. There known issues with the new Antivirus. Netgear is working on fixes, and says they will release them as 6.6.2 beta soon.
In the meantime, just turn off the antivirus service.
