Readynas Virtualbox users--who has upgraded to 6.7.x?
i am running 6.6.0 right now and Virtualbox works great. if i upgrade to 6.7.1 will it work or must I recompile and reinstall? how do i update/clean up the old install?
There's a major kernel upgrade in 6.7 from one based on the 4.1 LTS kernel to one based on the 4.4 LTS kernel so you would definitely need to recompile the kernel modules.
I have upgraded, yes you need to recompile. I updated the VirtualBox install to the latest deb and followed the instructions here in the forum. You can see where I helped someone else get through the recompile on a slightly older thread.
