ZoneMinder install failing on ReadyNAS 516 - libjpeg8

Hi,

Using latest firmware and getting the following error when installing zoneminder by nastools:

What is the firmware version of your NAS and what apps are currently iinstalled to your NAS?

Maybe you can send me the system logs, upload it to wikisend.com and PM me the download link.

I am using 6.7.5 RC1 but have issues with zoneminder for a while, probably since 6.7.0.

I have  the following installed:

DDClient 

Emby NT

Gate One NT

Home Assistant NT

Logitech media server NT

NetData NT

SABNZBD

Sonarr

TV Headend

ZeroTier One NT

Will PM you the system logs shortly.

I've just updated to the latest beta 6.8.0.T40 and am still getting the same error:

I think this has something to do with the ZoneMinder being compatible with until 6.5 only. Developer of the app needs to release an updated one for 6.7.x.

Unfortunately, NASTools who developed this doesn't appear to be active anymore so I guess that's the end of that.

Note to Netgear - Zoneminder still shows up among "available Apps" in 6.7.5 even though it is no longer supported on this version according to this thread. Can this be fixed?

Unfortunately the developer of the app is no longer active however community members are trying to look for someone that could be fill up the position and develop an update for the apps for future release of the firmware of the NAS.

Any more news on this?  What is it about the newer firmware that breaks ZoneMinder?

I gave up on trying to get this an other apps to work with the latest firmware releases.

Have just purchased a QNAP and have got all the apps I need running on it within a short space of time. Comes with a 2 camera licence for their surveillance software which works very well to. Will be selling my ReadyNAS 516 and EDA500 expansion unit on ebay once i'm happy with the new NAS and everything is copied over.

Hope  Netgear sorts out the issues with working add-ons availability soon as this is the real part that lakes way behind its competitors.

Any update on this issue? Latest version of OS6 doesnt work with zoneminder.
