online (vpn disconnected)

ready cloud desktop app not working.  Displays online(vpn disconnected)

 

unable to connect to either nas (from several desktop locations)  Nas devices are in different locations also. 

 

displays like it's a netgear problem.  just letting you know.  9-5-18  all day.

 

all devices running current software and operating systems.

Hi @pcarey

 

Have you tried toggling ReadyCloud services on both NAS? or rebooting the NAS? This gets the service restarted.

 

Also, if this has been working before please make sure that both NAS can connect to the internet.

 

On your PC try to have the Desktop App reinstalled as well.

we tried all of that yesterday. 

 

rebooted both NAS, check for updates, re-install/update client.  restart computers. 

 

nothing working.  Then this morning signs right in and works fine.  I think it was something with your system. 

 

It's happened before.  This service works really well for the most part.  Then once in a while it just fails.

There are other options, especially if you only need remote access.
