Access FrontView through Remote?
Is it possible to access Frontview and administer a ReadyNAS via ReadyNAS Remote? I have several clients that do not have control of upstream routers between the ReadyNAS and the Internet and this makes port forwarding problematic. Seems to me that this would be an obvious use for Remote.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Access FrontView through Remote?
No, you cannot control Frontview through remote at this time. ReadyNAS Remote uses CIFS or AFP as the protocol, while Frontview uses https.
In order to access Frontview remotely, you would need to forward port 443 on your router to your NAS and then connect to https://external.ip.of.router/admin
Seeing as your clients do not have control of the routers req'd for port-forwarding, you would need to use another mechanism for them to obtain remote control of a PC on the local LAN. There are services such as GotoMyPC.com that allow you to establish a remote connection back to a PC that is protected behind a firewall without the need for port-forwarding.

Re: Access FrontView through Remote?
I think it's possible. Just connect via ReadyNAS Remote and copy the ip-adress you've got into the adressbar of your i-net browser.
for example: https://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/admin/
