[CLOSE] FrontView dead after Transmission installation

I came to install Transmission addons on my Duo.
Everithing seem to be good at start, but after 2-3 minutes the transmission web interface says "Connection lost" and it's not possible to any web interface (admin, shares, transmission,...) :?
I need to switch off/switch on to access again to web interface for 2-3 minutes.

Any ideas?

Which firmware ? and Which Transmission Version

FirmWare : Raidiator 4.1.7 and transmission 2.11

I have made factory reset of my NAS and re-installed Transmission 2.11. Same problem, after a short time, the NAS network interface stop to work.
Any idea?

do you have ssh ?

can you restart the nas ans see if frontview is back again 🙂

Each time that I restart the nas by the button in front, Frontview is back for 5 mins.
I have investigate, is not only frontview, but the network interface stop work. Because FTP, CIFS, NFS stop to work also. When made a ping on my NAS, the reply is "the host is unreachable".

For SSH, no but I can add.

I have enabled SSH (verify your PM).
I have stopped Transmission 2.11 for the moment.

Hi, same problem - after 2-3 minutes of using Transmission, the web interface presents me with the message "Connection failed - you may need to reload the page" with a detail of "Connection to server lost"

I am able to restart the Transmission service by stopping and starting it again via Frontview, but only for 2-3 mins before the problem reoccurs.

I think that covers all time zones.....can i just add my experience as posted above by others....the length of time it runs or how often in a day i have to restart via Frontview can vary....

..its just plain odd, it doesn't seem to be any more or less stable whether im viewing files, moving them with Readynas Remote or simply doin nothing...

Me too. FrontView fine but Transmission Web UI stops responding. RAIDiator 4.1.7, Transmission 2.31

Has there been any movement on this? Much prefer this client to the stock one.

I'm now working fine when I manage my torrents via Transmission Remote dotnet. 2 days, so far so good.
