Cannot see add-ons, cannot SSH in:

I've tried to install a few 3rd party addons, and all have failed, however, Netgear Sponsored add ons are installable.

I installed SSH onto the ReadyNAS Ultra 6 (4.2.21) and a pop up tells me that SSH is installed, etc.
Then when I attempt to login, it accepts my credentials, then closes the connection.
I also attempted to install the PLEX add on and the DNLA add on. Unfortunately, nothing comes up under "installed" and I don't have any configuration pages for the add ons.
So it claims nothing is installed, (so no way to install or uninstall at this point).

Anyone seen this?

Re: Cannot see add-ons, cannot SSH in:

Have you tried clearing your web browser cache (e.g. Temporary Internet Files in IE), closing your web browser then reopening Frontview? Can you then see Plex in the installed add-ons list?

User for SSH is 'root' not admin.

If you ssh in can you do?:

cat /etc/frontview/addons/addons.conf
cat /etc/default/services

and post the output

Cannot see add-ons

I am unable to see any installed add-ons and DLNA options are not listed under Services.

Same issue with 4.2.20 and now again with 4.2.21

Re: Cannot see add-ons, cannot SSH in:

Oops I meant

# ls -la /tmp

It doesn't look like you have any add-ons installed (apart from the pre-installed Firefly) jpgivens

Did you have any installed? If so which ones?

jpgivens looking at the /etc/default/services it doesn't look like you have the DLNA service enabled. I'd suggest trying an OS Re-install (http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu)

Re: Cannot see add-ons, cannot SSH in:

I contacted level 2 support and provided log files. They were not able to provide a reason but later sent me this "ToggleStreamingServices_1.0-x86.bin" This allowed the already running DLNA server to show up on the ReadyNAS. Installed add-ons are still not being listed in the installed add-ons list.

Re: Cannot see add-ons, cannot SSH in:

What add-ons do you have installed?

Can you do

ls -laR /etc/frontview/addons
ls -la /etc/default/services
ls -la /tmp
