Downloadspeed SABnzbd
Hello,
My speed here doesn't get above 550KB/s.
What downloadspeeds do you people get?
Are there ways to increase speed?
Chris

Re: Downloadspeed SABnzbd
First question, what is your max DL speed with your computer ?
I would guess your NAS doesn't have the CPU power required for sabnzbd, as it's a newsgrabber which require some CPU power.
With my Ultra4, with a 2MB/s connection, sabnzbd downloads at around 1.8MB/s, but it's not due to the NAS, the overheads of newsgrabbing saturate my upload capacity.

Re: Downloadspeed SABnzbd
Thanks for your quick response
The download speed on my computer is 5 MB/s.
I have a ReadyNAS Duo with 1024MB memory.
I understand that the NAS is unable to match that speed, but 550 MB/s I think is very slow.
That is why I asked myself whether there are possibilities to increase this speed.
