Drive Mapping in ReadyNAS Remote
I have several applications on my home network that map to my ReadyNAS drive Z:(\\netgear\backup). When I access the network via ReadyNAS remote I can map it to y:(\x.x.x.x\backup). That all works fine. What I would like to do is be able to set up way to easily switch between my home network and remote VPN access to the ReadyNAS drive so the applications will seamlessly connect to the right folder whether or not I am at home or remotely. I hope someone can help. Thanks.

Re: Drive Mapping in ReadyNAS Remote
you could possibly do this with some clever batch scripting. In Windows, google "batch commands" or something like cmd scripting.
You'd probably need to test if the mapping was successful by creating a small txt file on the mapped drive and testing to see if it exists, if yes exit, if not map via the readynas remote address.
There are probably quite a few ways to do it but i think that would get you closer to it.
